When Detective Eye began complaining of eye strain (in addition to his heavy workload, or 'Eye strain') Bea realised that his eyes began to twitch whenever he was busy cracking a code using a static cipher wheel. Since tracing the path of the letters required intense concentration (which irked Detective Eye at the best of times), she set about creating a printable cipher wheel. Using stiff card to withstand the rigours of the detective's heavy-handed approach, the rotating cipher wheels quickly proved their worth, eradicating his eye strain and considerably lessening the Eye strain.
Bea's PDF file contains the patterns and instructions required to make your own rotating cipher wheels - just add a split pin to secure them.
When Detective Eye's brain is spinning and the cipher wheels have him going round in circles, he default's to Bea's other creation - the 'Cipher Slider', or 'Rectangular Cipher Wheels', according to Detective Eye.
When he wants to use a cipher slider but gluing pieces of card together just seems like too much hard work, Detective Eye makes one of these basic cipher sliders.
